Our commitments

The promises we're willing to put in the contract.

Anyone can say the right things in a first meeting. These are the commitments we make to every owner who sells to us — and we're happy for them to appear in writing alongside the price.

01

To your employees

  • Terms, roles and length of service are protected on transfer.
  • No redundancy programme as an opening move — we buy teams, not headcount targets.
  • Everyone hears the news properly, in person, before it reaches the rumour mill.
  • Investment in training and progression for people who have had neither for years.

02

To your customers

  • The same contacts, the same numbers and the same standard of service.
  • Your largest accounts hear from you and from us directly, not from an email blast.
  • Existing pricing and contracts are honoured, not repapered at the first renewal.
  • Continuity of the people they actually deal with day to day.

03

To your legacy

  • The company name and local identity stay unless there's a genuine reason to change them.
  • Your history is part of the value — we use it rather than erase it.
  • Founders are credited, not written out of the story.
  • Community, sponsorship and long-standing supplier relationships continue.

04

To continuity

  • We buy to hold. There is no three-year plan to sell you on to someone else.
  • Profits are reinvested in vehicles, equipment, systems and people.
  • Decisions are made by the people running the business, not a distant committee.
  • If we ever did sell, the same standards would apply to who we sold to.

And one thing we won't do.

We won't buy a business in order to break it up. No asset stripping, no closing the depot and servicing the round from two counties away, no quietly letting the long-serving staff go once the ink is dry. If that's the plan, someone else can have the deal.
